London time – Time for another exciting UK visit!

This February we decided to visit London again. Surprisingly, the weather was quite mild for the time of year, reaching around 20 degrees. Over a few days, we visited some amazing attractions, enjoyed great food, and even caught a show. Here’s a simple recap of our stay.

Where we Stayed

We chose the Park Plaza County Hall for our stay in central London, close to Waterloo Station. The staff were friendly, and the room, while not overly spacious, had everything we needed after a day of sightseeing.

Where to Eat

London has an incredible food scene, and I made sure we tried a variety of spots:

  • Ping Pong: Dim Sum Restaurant. Our first time trying Chinese food, we were pleasantly surprised.
  • Steak and Company: A modern steakhouse right next to the National Gallery. The menu was straightforward, but the quality of the steak and the friendly service made it memorable.
  • Five Guy’s: We simply had to 😀

Things to Do

London has so much to offer, but here are the highlights from my trip:

  • Hamilton at the Victoria Palace Theater: Seeing Hamilton live was a major highlight of the trip. The performances, music, and energy were absolutely unforgettable.
  • Tower of London: Stepping back in time to explore this historic fortress was fascinating. Seeing the Crown Jewels and walking through the medieval walls gave me a real sense of London’s rich history.
  • Natural History Museum: This iconic museum was a must-visit. The dinosaur exhibits and the incredible architecture of the building itself were truly impressive.
  • Oxford Street Shopping: We spent an afternoon exploring the shops along Oxford Street. From big-name stores to unique boutiques, it was a fun way to enjoy the lively energy of the city.

Final Thoughts

London in February was a wonderful escape. With mild weather, iconic attractions, and the unforgettable Hamilton performance, it felt like the perfect mix of culture, history, and fun. Can’t wait for the next trip back there.
